| Lancashire Darts will play hosts to two venues for the Grosvenor Casinos England Grand Prix of Darts with over £40,000 prize fund. Each venue will have a Prize Fund of around £4,000 with the Mens Champion winning £1,000 and Ladies Champion £500. Points will be awarded at each venue with the top 32 Men & Ladies going to the Grand Finals with a further £4,000 on offer. There are 10 Venues and players can enter and play in all the events. |

| It is with a heavy heart that I have to report that tragedy once again visits Lancashire Darts with the passing of Former Competition Secretary, Alf Gardner, last night of a heart attack. Alf was an integral part of Lancashire darts for more than 25 years, and along with Kenny Osbourner ran the successful Leigh team (Sportsman), who won The Super league title on several occassions and many brewery events including the Rosebowl. | Final Games in the Lancashire Super League this coming Weekend. Burnley hold Pole position in the Elite Super 8's with Rochdale Boro, Oldham & Southport all with chances of becoming champions. Stockport are Champions of the Super 8's and will compete at the highest level next year but Lune Valley need to beat Blackburn away on Sunday to deny Wigans promotion. The Premier Division brings together the top two for the final match as Bolton travel to Fleetwood requiring a draw to lift the title as both teams are assured of promotion. Whilst Aspull go up as champions of 1st Divisin only 1 point seperates three teams Longridge, Ingleton & Morecmabe the latter two looking for back to back promotions. All the matches in the 2nd Division have been completed with Wigan Central & Morecambe Borough being Promoted. The Ladies Premier Division Title once again goes to Swinton with Milnrow, Blackpool & Bolton looking for the runners up spot. The Ladies 1st Division sees Fleetwood & Prestwich tied on level points going into the last game. Fleetwood will win the league if the scores aer level.
