To the new page for Youth Darts in Lancashire.
The county have a proud record of bringing youth players through and many of them have progressed to be amongst the top players in the world of Darts. Paul Whitworth (Salford) and Mark Holden (Middleton) "The Bruise Brothers" recently were seen on SKY TV in The World Match Play. Paul being a former Embassy Gold Cup Champion. Steve Coote (Farnworth) a regular in The Sports "Blue Ribbon Event" The Embassy World Professional and is currently a member of the England National team and has been for three years. Wesley Newton just missing out last year in the last qualifying round to get into The Skol World Championships. Oldham`s Jimmy Griffith has been a regular in the Lancashire Inter-Counties team for over 15 years. These are just a glimpse of the talent that Lancashire County have been able to encourage through the years.
